Treat yourself to Low Fat Coconut Crisps with added LA Whey Protein powder.
Ingredients:
50g Light flora butter
3g Brown Sugar
10g LA Whey Vanilla protein powder
1 Egg
220g Wheat Flour
440g Fresh shredded coconut.
Directions
Put 50g Butter and 3g Brown sugar in a mixing bowel and blend together using a hand mixer until a pale creamy mixture is formed. Add a pinch of salt, 10g LA Whey Vanilla protein powder and 1 egg. Beat until well blended with the flour and coconut.
Form a Dough Ball and place in the fridge for 30 minutes until moldable
Mould Dough ball into a log shape roughly 2 inches in diameter.
Wrap the log formed dough in wax paper and freeze for 2 hours until hard.
Pre heat oven to 375°c
Thinly cust the dough into ¼ inch slices.
Arrange slices on a cookie sheet at least 2 inches apart.
Bake for around 8 – 10 minutes until Golden Brown.
Allow To cool for 3 minutes and serve.
