UKBFF Men's physique champion Alex Platt takes you through a hardcore shoulder workout that will build & define your delts to the maximum.
Alex has won numerous fitness titles in such a short amount of time in the industry and one of the main reasons he separates himself from the competition is the definition and symmetry of his deltoids.
He is constantly being asked how he trains to get his delts so 'separated' and defined, so LA Muscle have teamed up with the man himself to get the low down .....
Shoulder Workout of a Champion
Alex performs this workout once a week and works to failure on each working set. Follow the routine below and start packing on some serious definition to your shoulders ......
EXERCISE 1:
5 min rotator cuff warm up
EXERCISE 2:
Pre-fatigue with lateral raises 3x20 (nice and light weight)
EXERCISE 3:
Seated military press 4 X 12,10,8,6
EXERCISE 4:
Superset seated dumbbell front raises 3 X 10
Into
Seated lateral raises 3 X 10
EXERCISE 5:
Rope face pulls (rear delts) 3 X 8-12
