Martin Green wins World Championships

Martin Green has done it again, winning his 3rd World Powerlifting Championships. Here's what he had to say:
"I competed at the World Bench Press Championships (WDFPF) held at the weekend in Witney Oxfordshire. I lifted on Saturday.
I won the 90kg bodyweight class (actually weighed 89.6kg) by lifting the
World Record of 216kg on my opening lift. I attempted 220kg on my other
attempts but didn't succeed. I was disappointed as have lifted this weight
many times in training. This is the third consecutive year i have won the
World Championships.
I was the Manager and Coach for the England Powerlifting team at the recent Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Northumberland on 8-11 September where we won the best team awards for the Men and Women. My next competition is the British championships in February where i hope to break the 500lb barrier.
