So, it's that time of year again, the winter bulk is over for some and prep season is upon us. Already I'm bored of the endless pictures of Tupperware full of nothing but chicken and broccoli, white fish and kale etc.
If you are happy to eat bland food then hats off to you, but you can still achieve the body you want without compromising on flavoursome food.
Here is one of my favourite simple, high protein recipes, perfect for snacking on the go, plus they keep for a few days and taste great hot or cold. Give it a go and let me know what you think:
Chinese Turkey Meatballs - Serves 3
Ingredients
500g Turkey Mince
1tbsp finely chopped/grated ginger
2 x small or 1 x large crushed garlic clove
1tsp Chinese five spice
1tsp soy sauce
1tbsp (heaped) flaxseeds
1/2tsp dried chilli flakes
Method
Simply put all ingredients in a mixing bowl, get stuck in with your hands, kneading everything together. Shape into 12 balls and place on an oven tray and bake for 20-25 mins at 180 degrees, turning once.
