In this recipe for a super easy (and healthy) protein bar, only five ingredients are required: chocolate, whey protein powder, peanut butter, honey, and oats.
This recipe makes eight protein bars.
LA Whey Gold protein powder ( Your choice of flavour ) : 6 scoops
Cocoa powder : 2 tablespoons
Oats : 1 cup
Peanut butter : 16 ounces
Honey : 8 tablespoons
Muscle building and bulking are great benefits of this protein bar, and it can be used as an easy high protein snack between meals.
Mix the honey with the peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the honey peanut butter mixture in the microwave for 20 seconds. Using a fork or spatula, stir it again and heat for a further 20 seconds. Repeat this process until the peanut butter and honey are soft enough to mix in the cocoa powder, LA Whey Gold and oats.
For the next step, add the cocoa powder, whey protein powder and oats to the mixture. Mix well, then pour into a 9x9 or a 9x13 baking dish. Perhaps you would like to lightly grease the baking dish or cover the bottom and sides with baking parchment paper before you start baking.
You can place the pan in the refrigerator for an hour after cooking. When it has cooled enough, you can remove it, cut it into your preferred square sizes, and enjoy!
