A great tasting fish and chips recipe which is low fat and high in protein. It's perfect for anyone looking to add some variety to their fish recipes.
This meal is great to have post training for it’s protein and carb content. Remember your body needs fuel to recover from workouts and this fish and chips recipe have it all.
Ingredients:
450g fish fillets
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
breading
1/3 cup cottage cheese
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3 potatoes sliced into chips
Directions:
1 Beat egg and milk in a shallow bowl and set aside. In a zipper bag combine breading ingredients.
2 One at a time dip fillets in egg, shake off excess and turn or shake in breading in bag.
3 Bake uncovered on an oiled baking sheet at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
4 Slice the potatoes into chips and bake in the oven for 20 minutes
