Here is a tasty recipe sent into us by bodybuilder Rob Reinaldo which he wanted to share with LA Muscle fans.
Rob indulges on this mammoth dark chocolate soufflé enriched with protein to prime his body the night before a huge workout.
Here is what Rob has to say about his recipe:
“Think of this as your pre-workout boost the night before a big session. This mutant chocolate soufflé uses LA Whey protein and egg whites for some quality protein. The phytochemical-rich dark chocolate contains epicatechin to improve energy levels and strengthen your skeletal muscle. Administer immediately before bed to make the following day's muscle building truly sweet.
Ingredients

2 scoops chocolate LA Whey Protein
1tbsp Low fat cream
4 Egg Whites

Melt the dark chocolate and mix in the cream and protein.
Leave it to cool for a bit while you whisk together two egg whites in a bowl.
In another bowl whisk up two more egg whites.
Add the splenda sugar and whisk everything again.
Now add in the other eggs, mix it all together and dollop into two greased ramekins.
Put them in the oven on 180°C until they rise, which will be after about 8-10min.
Then give your sweet tooth what it's aching for while priming your muscles for optimum performance the following morning.
