If you like Indian, Thai, or Chinese cuisine, you're going to love this recipe. It's delicious and a different take on a popular muscle building meal. To add a little zest to the recipe, you can sprinkle your chicken with cilantro and sliced almonds. Enjoy!
Ingredients
3 tablespoons Low Fat butter
1 onion, diced
1 pound of chicken cutlets
1 1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup apricot jam
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cardamon
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Directions
In a large saucepan, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken and onion and cook until chicken is cooked throughout, about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer over medium heat until the sauce has thickened. Salt and pepper to taste before serving over steamed white rice.
