Tuna Teriyaki

Quick & Healthy Protein Dish

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soy
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 480g tuna steak
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method:

  • Mix together soy sauce, honey, oil, ginger, and garlic in a large bowl.
  • Cut tuna steaks into four equal portions.
  • Marinate steaks in the prepared mixture. Place tuna on a broiling pan, reserving the marinade.
  • Simmer tuna steaks 4-5-inch above the heat for 3-4 minutes, basting with reserved marinade frequently. Sprinkle tuna steaks with sesame seeds. Remove from pan and serve hot.
  • Serve with stir fry vegetables and noodles or steamed rice and vegetables.
