Apple juice is rich in phyto-nutrients and bioflavinoids. Apple Juice contains vitamin-C, which is an antioxidant that helps protect your body from infectious diseases.
Apple juice is also rich in beta-carotene, which we need for healthy skin, eyes, and for a healthy immune system. Other benefits also include nutrient synthesis and metabolism boost through B-complex vitamins like riboflavin, thiamin, and pyridoxine.
Also remember that the skins contain a great deal of these important nutrients. It’s not a bad idea to save the juice pulp to include in your next meal for added fibre, or even re-added to your drink.
Best drunk: Cold, from the fridge. You can also add a few ice-cubes to make it extra refreshing.
