Where on earth do these rumours come from? The amazing thing is that there are literally "thousands" of athletes and bodybuilders out there who are taking Creatine with warm water and thinking why nothing is happening! Firstly, warm water does not stay in your digestive system as long as cold water. So for a start, you have less chances of any Creatine getting absorbed. Secondly, why are you taking Creatine with water? Where have you been for the last few years, Mars? You DO NOT take Creatine Monohydrate with water. You take it with Grape or Apple juice to get the muscle hormone Spike. This is what takes the Creatine into your muscles. Water does not do that! It seems that this whole "warm water" nonsense started when a company produced cheap Creatine which was literally like rock, so they got the bright idea to tell people to mix it with warm water to break it down!
Creatine will do what you want it to do. If you are doing "anaerobic" exercise (bodybuilding), then it will help you put more muscle on. If you do more "aerobic" exercises, then it will give you more energy and stamina. Creatine Monohydrate will not work properly if you don't take it with a dextrose-rich juice (grape/apple). It will not work well for bodybuilders, if you don't drink lots of water during the day or if your protein intake is low. Creatine will also not work well if you have too much caffeine or if you consume the Creatine at the same sitting as a protein-rich meal. If you are short of time, you can have it at the same time as protein, but we advise that you leave a gap of at least 30 minutes between the two. Check 3 below for effects of caffeine. Creatine Monohydrate will take around 2-4 weeks to really kick in. Some people do see results earlier. If you want to notice almost instant gains from Creatine, then go for Explosive Creatine. Otherwise if you are in no hurry, go for La Muscle's Pure Creatine Monohydrate (currently, buy 1 for £44.99, get another FREE!) If you have tried all of the above and Creatine has still not worked, then you may be the 1 in 500 people who Creatine does not work for! This is a rarity and if so, it is advisable to try and build your body from another angle, such as taking Norateen, Sculpt or IGFAA.
Studies have shown Caffeine to hinder the effectiveness of Creatine. Again, some companies which started bringing cheaper Creatine and decided to tell people to take Creatine with Caffeine, hoping that people would mistake the Caffeine kick for a Creatine rush! Cut down on Caffeine if you are supplementing with Creatine and certainly, never take the two at the same time.
Creatine Monohydrate is just Creatine. It works in around 2-4 weeks and gives good results. Explosive Creatine is Creatine (over 5g), plus 1g of Taurine, 1g of L-Arginine, dextrose AND Sodium & Potassium phosphates; all of this, per serving! This product is extremely effective and does the job with 100% accuracy. Explosive Creatine has been recognised as one of the most effective supplements in the world for giving quick, guaranteed and very noticeable results.
A tub of Explosive Creatine will not last as long as a tub of Creatine Monohydrate, so it may appear more expensive. However, this is a false economy. You see, to get the best results from Creatine Monohydrate, you have to take it with Grape or Apple juice which will cost around £1 a day, minimum! So the final cost of a tub of Creatine Monohydrate can be over £100! On the other hand, Explosive Creatine is already mixed with dextrose and is fruit punch flavoured. You just mix it with water. On top of that, you have the 5 uptake agents in Explosive Creatine for free! These are ingredients which are expensive and you will miss out on, if you just take Creatine Monohydrate.
No. If you have a pre-existing kidney problem, then it is not advisable to take Creatine. Scientific research has so far not shown Creatine to be harmful, if taken as recommended. So start growing NOW!
No! All the scientific studies on Creatine have shown that powder is the best Creatine to take for muscle and strength. Liquid is a great marketing idea, but in the real world you are just paying much more money for much less Creatine. Stick to proven products like Explosive Creatine.
