The Fitness Expo held in Kensington Olympia is a relatively new event. It hasn't yet decided whether it wants to be a true fitness expo devoted to body building and fitness or whether it wants to be an alternative health expo. You get a mixture of stands.
This is a bit confusing as if someone has gone to a "fitness exhibition", they don't expect to be approached by people offering deep breathing classes. Yes, relevant but probably best to keep to one subject. At a fitness expo, you want to see lots ond lots of fitness, nutrition, body building and supplements stands.
Was the expo big and worth going to? Yes and no. In comparison to the big expos like the Arnold, we wouldn't advise travelling across the world to go to this one. However if you are in or around London, then it is definitely a good day out.
X-Cell who are one of the LA Muscle re-sellers had a very nice stand at the expo and we sent some of the LA Muscle sponsored athletes to help out.
Present were Sonbol, our very own "big guy", Rob Riches, looking very good ahead of his first ever competiton, the LA Muscle BNBF Central qualifier, Rob Lloyd who won the Juniors, Darren Gumbs who is looking sharp ahead of his trip to Europe.
Also present at the Expo were the likes of Big Ernie Taylor, friendly and approchable as usual, signing autographs, Rob Hope at the BNBF stand and a great guest poser, Vicky Mccann, one of the UK's best female body builders, Ed Corney, Charles Clairemont, who was very friendly and a genuinely nice personality and Simon Morgan, one of the UK's best body builders.
