If you look at action-hero star Henry Cavill's body early on in his career, you can clearly see that whilst he was no slouch, he in no way shape or form looked as muscular as he does now. It is only through hard training, dedication and grafting in the gym that he has managed to sculpt the incredibly muscular and ripped physique you see today.
Fast forward to now and following extensive training in the gym, Henry Cavill has an incredible physique, worthy of the Superman role and a proper super-hero! But how would someone like him get such an incredible body in a relatively short space of time? Let's find out.
It is widely claimed that Henry Cavill has transformed his body through a combination of hard and heavy Olympic lifting and cardio done at the same time. His starting point being "the mind" and making sure that it is set right and ready for a long road ahead of dedication and hard training. Cavill was consuming 5000-6000 calories a day and training twice a day and sleeping at least 10 hours a night. Favourite exercises being front Squat and normal Squat - which are great for putting size on.
If you look at videos of Henry Cavill training for Superman, you see him doing a great deal of Deadlifts, cross-training, kettlebells, chins, pull-ups, over-head presses. His trainer says he used physical effort in the gym as a way of self-discovery, very similar to what soldiers go through. Now it's your turn to hit the gym and build a super-hero body like Henry Cavill.
