Sometimes when we go through some lifestyle changes or bad moments in our life, things can get the better of us and our weight can be greatly affected as it can skyrocket if diet and exercise become interrupted or halted completely. A lot of times these are out of control and even with a good clean diet and regular exercise you still might struggle to shift the weight.
A good tip to remember when trying to keep weight off, even if avoiding bad foods, is to watch your carbohydrate intake. Carbs are the main source of fuel that the body uses for energy and when consuming too much of it on a regular basis will cause rapid weight gain and will outdo all of your hard work.
The best thing to do if your lifestyle takes an unexpected change and interrupts your diet and training, is to just at least ensure that you keep your carbohydrate intake to a minimum and look at alternative sources of fuel by making conscience decisions for your nutrition. We will make a note that this is inclusive of sugar, which is a massive contributor to body fat and also that fast food should always been avoided due to excess carbohydrates and trans fats.
This might seem like an obvious tip, but it is fundamental to your overall health and fitness goals, as well as a healthy lifestyle, that you try and stick as close to this as possible and use it as a guide to help you in the future.
