Rub raw Manuka honey on the eye-lids, making sure it doesn’t get into your eyes. You can use a cotton bud to do so. Try every evening and morning for a few weeks.
Cut out red meat intake, dairy products and citrus fruits/juices for a few weeks. It’s dramatic, but so is having bad joint pain!
Common culprits are cheese, chocolate, alcohol, dairy products; also stress, change in weather and tiredness. Monitor your symptoms and write in a diary when you get a migraine/headache and work back to see what caused it.
Drink more water. Check to make sure your nose is not blocked. If so, cut our dairy, wheat & gluten for a few weeks and see if it opens up. Reduce caffeine intake and try and avoid stress/anxiety.
You need to up your fibre and activity levels. Eat more apricots, prunes, figs, raisins, grapes, dates and sultanas. Walk, run, jump (trampoline is good). Drink 2+ litres of water a day.
Want an amazingly quick remedy? Lift your fingernail from the bed of your finger slightly on your little finger (on the hand corresponding to your ear with the problem - if both ears, then both small finger-nails). Keep it slightly lifted until the ringing stops.
Stop all caffeine. Caffeine can be found not just in coffee, but tea, chocolate, cakes, cocoa, supplements etc Read the labels! Go to a health store and buy some Rescue Remedy spray and spray 2-3 sprays into your mouth when you feel anxious.
Don’t watch the news. Don’t think about the past and don’t worry about the future. As soon as worry sets in, get up and do something else. Physically change your position whenever anxiety sets in.
