Overtraining is a common problem in fitness and people tend to think that more is better. This theory is incorrect as overtraining can be very counterproductive to your fitness goals.
What is overtraining?
Over training is the result of giving your body more work or stress then it can handle. Overtraining occurs when a person experiences stress and physical trauma from exercise faster than their body can repair the damage.
