Bodybuilders Exposed to Risks from Drinking Human Breast Milk
The new craze in the bodybuilding industry seems to be something that is as shocking as it is dangerous - drinking breast milk.

When it comes to bodybuilding there is always that group of fanatical aspiring bodybuilders who are willing to try almost anything for the sake of faster muscle gains. If you thought that drinking raw eggs for breakfast was extreme, then prepare to be shocked – the new “muscle building secret” appears to be drinking raw human breast milk!
The claims that breast milk is a super food, that can provide essential nutrients, boost energy levels and even help with erectile dysfunction, are not backed by any scientific data (or at least not in vivo). The associated risks, however, are very real. For example, the substances consumed by the “producer” can easily contaminate breast milk. This means that various chemical and toxins could potentially be ingested by the bodybuilder, who is striving for a clean and nutritious diet.

Add to this the failure of women to sanitise properly when expressing milk, failure to sterilise equipment properly, and improper storage of the milk, and you what you have is a recipe for disaster.
So the takeaway point is to absolutely stay away from breast milk, and to instead consume good-old cow’s milk, be it skimmed, semi-skimmed or whole/full-fat.
