Mangoes are low in calories, A 100 gram of mango contains about 75 calories. Due to the high amounts of fiber found in mango, it can be helpful in keeping you regular, thereby helping or preventing constipation.
Mangoes are packed with vitamins and minerals and as well as being low in calories they are also low in fat. Research has shown antioxidant compounds in mango fruit have been found to protect against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers.
The high levels of fiber, pectin and vitamin C help to lower serum cholesterol level. Can be used both internally and externally for the skin. Mangos clear clogged pores and eliminate pimples.
